Little SProuts - farmcredit - city paper Company

Sketches / idea proposal

As an intern at City Paper Company, we worked with Farmcredit to come up with ideas for Future Farmers of America (FFA). Farmcredit wanted some designs to go on their baby care basket that they will give within the FFA. I wanted to propose an idea using their company’s color palette to incorporate more hand-drawn and gender-neutral designs. The following designs shown are to be put on baby clothing such as: shirts, bibs, blankets, etc.

Farmcredit’s main color — is a very vibrant green that reminded me of new plants that are sprouting. Using quotes and sayings related to farming and adding hand-drawn elements to give a — very fresh and crisp — look.

I wanted to go for designs that are gender neutral, so that way it doesn’t stray too much from the company’s brand. The designs are versatile and can be placed on different articles of baby clothing and accessories.

Created a ‘sprout’ pattern to give the idea of a fresh new start and new beginnings! This pattern is perfect to place on different items to give more of a variety.
